Before founding Becker Harris & Co., Tom Becker was the President and CEO of THOM BROWNE, a leading global luxury fashion house. While at TB, Tom raised significant capital, built a best in class infrastructure, launched the first global ads and negotiated partnership agreements with Brooks Brothers and Moncler.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a VP for M&A at JP Morgan, advising the corporate Treasury group on potential new business acquisitions, joint ventures and divestures with a focus on enterprise technology and payment systems.
As a Director at American Express, he ran a team in the interactive incubation unit focused on developing and purchasing new interactive technologies partnering with McKinsey on crafting breakout strategies for senior management.
Tom also launched the first interactive on-line decision platform for any of American Express’s products and was instrumental in bringing the on-line affiliate marketing platform to the firm. He began his career with Mellon Financial in Pittsburgh where he managed direct marketing campaigns for the firm’s credit card division.
Tom received his BA in History from Washington and Lee University, has over 40 hours of certified project management experience, and serves as the board President of Mockingbird Ministries.
